Assigning goals to yourself

A common question of Goals4Sure users is: can I
use Goals4Sure to manage my own goals?

Goals4Sure is a management tool, usually used to assign goals to other people,
but you can use it to assign goals to yourself. Such goals will be only visible
to you.

The only thing you shall do, to assign a goal to yourself is to create a resource
whose responsible email is your email
and assign the goal to that resource, you
can name this resource Yourself.

In fact Goals4Sure manages a network of goals like, for example, this one,
in which arrows indicate who assigned goals to whom.

In this case your boss will see in his dashboard Increase Sales and
Reduced fixed expenses (assigned to you and to controller respectively).

You will see two goals on dashboard: Open new opportunities and
Generate leads assigned to you and to campaign manager respectively. Those
are the goals that are of direct interest to you.

When you switch to Goals assigned to me you will see Increase sales and
Open new opportunities, note that this is not a dashboard but this is
basically an input form with goals you shall report progress about.

When you assign a goal to somebody Goal4Sure notifies him (her) about the
new goal, but this does not happen if you assign the goal to yourself. Anyway
will be periodically requested to update goal progress no matter who assigned it.
